Collingwood membership is performing strongly and has passed 35,000 which is great news for the club. The club is currently 5,500 members up when compared to the same time last year and we have experienced an unprecedented demand for memberships over the past two weeks. We hope to be able to break the 40,000 barrier in 2008!
 
The membership department would like to thank all members for their generous support and for the patience during this extremely busy period.
 
We would like to apologise to any members who may have experienced delays in receiving their memberships or have had trouble contacting the club in the lead up to the first round – we have had extra staff and extra phone lines in place over the past three weeks and it has still been very difficult to cater for the number of calls coming through and to process the thousands of memberships that came in just prior to the first game.
 
We would also like to apologise to any members who experienced difficulties collecting tickets or purchasing memberships at the first game. The club sold over 1000 memberships on the day and this along with ticket and cap collections caused some delays.   
 
The membership department is currently working through any remaining issues regarding reserve seating and membership renewals.
