Scans this afternoon have confirmed that Collingwood defender Jeremy Howe ruptured the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the final term of last night’s match against Greater Western Sydney.

Damage was also suffered to the medial ligament in the same knee.

Howe will see a specialist on Monday for recovery options, which include surgery.
