Ex-Magpies join the 200 Club
Nine prominent members of the Australian football community with strong Collingwood ties are now members of the AFL’s 200 Club.
Eddie Drohan, Fred Froude, Neil Mann, Alby Pannam, Charlie E Pannam, Charlie H Pannam, Kevin Rose, Ted Rowell, Murray Weideman are the Magpies among the 59 former players/coaches who are now a part of the 200 Club.
Previously, a person qualified for the 200 Club with either 200 games as a player, coach or umpire, but did not qualify if a combination of player/coach, was the only way a person could formally reach 200 games of service.
The 200 Club was formed at the end of the 1961 seasons, bringing together players with 200 or more League games including night or pre-season games, State of Origin games or International Rules games. The Club has since expanded to include coaches and umpires.
