Pocket rocket Jamie Elliott will have scans on his hamstring after experiencing ‘tightness’ during Collingwood’s 15-point win over Carlton.
Elliott left the field early in the third quarter and did not reappear.
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley said his team’s leading goal kicker had not torn his hamstring but was experiencing enough discomfort to warrant substitution.
“He was tight in the hammy,” Buckley told reporters after the match.

“The medical feedback was that he hasn’t had a tear but that it was precautionary, it wasn’t loosening up.
“Generally where there’s smoke there’s fire but we’ll look at that and scan it tomorrow.”
To lose Elliott would put a severe dent in the Magpies’ starting line up.
He has kicked a team-high 30 goals in 14 games, going without a major just twice so far this season.
Late inclusion Ben Kennedy was Elliott's replacement after the latter was substituted out of the match.
