Pies ruckman Brodie Grundy has received eight votes in the coaches' award for his heroic effort in Saturday night's narrow loss to the Sydney Swans at the SCG.

Grundy finished the game with 24 disposals, a whopping 57 hit-outs and a goal.

Taylor Adams and Tom Langdon were the other Collingwood players to poll votes.

Swans superstar Lance Franklin received the maximum 10 votes after kicking six goals in a match-winning effort.

Grundy is the highest-placed Collingwood player on the leaderboard, which is now headed by Hawthorn's Tom Mitchell.
