Jamie Elliott has been ruled out of Saturday’s clash with St Kilda at the MCG.
The star forward’s minor setback was revealed by footy manager Geoff Walsh in the latest episode of Injury Update.
Walsh said Elliott had suffered some “hamstring tightness” late in last weekend’s win over Carlton.
“Given Jamie’s history, we’re not going to take any chances there,” Walsh said.
“So we’ll pull him out of selection availability this week, rehab it.
“It’s not a serious thing, in terms of what Jamie’s been through, but … we’ll see how he goes in the next week or so.”
Other players mentioned in the round nine episode of Injury Update include:
- Mason Cox (ankle)
- Taylor Adams (adductor)
- James Aish (concussion)
- Flynn Appleby (ankle)
- Dayne Beams (hip soreness)
- Tyler Brown (shoulder)
