Collingwood supporters will get the first chance to see their AFL team in action against an opposition club for 2020 when the Pies take on Carlton in a practice match at Ikon Park on Thursday evening.

The game will consist of six periods of match play.

First bounce is at 4pm.

Fans who attend the game will be encouraged to make a gold coin donation, with the proceeds going towards bushfire relief.

There will be limited public parking in the area around Ikon Park, so supporters of both clubs are being urged to travel via public transport. 

The match will serve as preparation for Collingwood's first Marsh Community Series game against Richmond in Wangaratta on Sunday, March 1.
