Didak to return
Premiership forward Alan Didak will return from an adductor injury in the VFL this Saturday.
The dual All-Australian injured his adductor muscle in the opening minutes of the Queen’s Birthday win over Melbourne in round 11.
“Didak is available and will resume in the VFL against the Box Hill Hawks this Saturday,” Director of Football Geoff Walsh told collingwoodfc.com.au.

When he sustained the injury five weeks ago, Walsh said that Didak’s complete tear of the muscle would allow a full attachment to take place that would not require surgery.
In further good news for the Magpies, premiership defender Ben Johnson is now listed as being 3-4 weeks away from a return to football after undergoing a shoulder reconstruction following the round six victory over the Western Bulldogs.
Walsh said that Johnson is progressing well.
“We hope he might be back in about a month”.
Backman Simon Buckley will train today and is expected to be fit to play after he was substituted out of Saturday night’s match against Geelong at half time due to a migraine.
