Scans on Monday have revealed that midfielder Brianna Davey has suffered a soft tissue injury to her lower left leg but no break or serious injury. 

The Magpies’ vice-captain sustained the injury in the team’s round one victory over the Eagles on Sunday. Tests on the track later this week will determine whether the 24-year-old will be fit to face her former side Carlton this Sunday.

Ruby Schleicher (knee) will also be put through her paces at training to determine her eligibility for selection for round two.

Emma Grant remains unavailable with concussion.

Collingwood’s squad for round two will be released Thursday evening with the final team to be announced on Friday.
