Collingwood historian Michael Roberts has delved into his substantial pile of record books to find all the key anniversaries and milestones to celebrate this year.
• 10 years since the 2010 Premiership
• 30 years since the 1990 Premiership
• 90 years since our record-breaking fourth flag in a row in 1930
• 110 years since our 1910 premiership over Carlton
• 20 years since Mick Malthouse took charge of his first game as Collingwood senior coach (v Hawthorn Rd 1 2000)
• 20 years since Ben Johnson, Leon Davis, Josh Fraser, Shane O'Bree and Rhyce Shaw all debuted for the club
• 25 years since the first ANZAC Day game against Essendon, in 1995
• 25 years since Scott Burns made his debut (Rd 1 1995)
• 40 years since the opening of the cult classic movie The Club, set at Victoria Park and featuring Tom Hafey and a raft of 'Hafey's Heroes'
• 50 years since Peter McKenna registered the highest number of goals ever kicked in a single season by a Collingwood player (143 in 1970)
• 50 years since Collingwood's greatest-ever comeback, having been 52 points behind St Kilda at half-time in Round 10 of 1970.
• 60 years since our first Under-19s premiership
• 75 years since Magpie greats Neil Mann, Bill Twomey and Len Fitzgerald all debuted in the same game (Rd 1 1945)
• 100 years since the legendary Gordon Coventry made his debut for the Magpies (Rd 15 1920 v St Kilda)
• 100 years since Collingwood's reserves team, Collingwood Districts, won the VFL's reserves premiership – going back-to-back in the process.
