Collingwood recruit Jack Crisp has avoided a suspension but has been fined for betting on an AFL market while he was at the Brisbane Lions.
The AFL announced on Monday afternoon that Crisp had been fined $5,000.
However, the league said the young midfielder would not be hit with a playing suspension due to his co-operation and contrition in dealing with the matter.
