Collingwood’s quest to improve on its eight wins this season took a blow last night with confirmation forward Alex Fasolo (right) would miss the last three games.
Fasolo, who has kicked 25 goals in 12 games this season, had shoulder surgery yesterday.
Tim Broomhead has also had shoulder surgery and won’t play again this year as the Pies battle to reach the 10 wins they recorded in 2015.

Scott Pendlebury's foot injury is not as bad as first thought and the Collingwood captain is a chance to play against the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.
However, the Magpies can add small forwards Alex Fasolo and Tim Broomhead to a lengthy list of players already ruled out for the season with the pair set for shoulder surgery on Monday.
Magpies football boss Neil Balme said a scan on Pendlebury's foot, which he injured in Friday night's game against Richmond, came up all clear.
Buckley won’t let pressure affect him

Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has admitted he “absolutely” feels under pressure after another bottom-eight finish, but is adamant he cannot let it affect him.
The Magpies are 8-11 this season and currently sit 12th on the ladder, but Buckley said any stress about the situation could have a significant flow-on effect.
