Easter Sunday is Social Sunday this weekend as we take on the Saints at Etihad Stadium.

To celebrate, we’re handing over the keys of our Twitter account to you. When the first ball is bounced at 3.20PM on Sunday, you barely see us Tweeting at all. That’s because we want you to do it for us as we retweet the best and most creative fan messages all game long.

On Instagram, we want to know how you’re watching the Magpies in action in our Easter Sunday clash. Chocolate and footy on the couch? Or in the Cheersquad at Etihad Stadium? Send through a photo and it may help make our Instagram Story a masterpiece.

Facebook will be the place to go for all fan discussion and post-game analysis. Stay tuned throughout the week as we go LIVE on our Facebook page.

FAZ’S TRIVIA
Alex Fasolo has a new game show soon to be appearing on collingwoodfc.com.au. Before that arrives, he’ll be testing the knowledge of the Magpie Army with a Collingwood trivia question each evening on Twitter.

Follow @collingwoodfc on Twitter and stay tuned between 7-8pm when Faz will post the question and we will select the winner at random from the correct answers who use the #socialPIES.

A new prize will be available every day, so feel free to keep playing even if you win early. The person successful each day will receive a direct message on Twitter letting them know how to collect their prize.

SEND US YOUR GIFS
You may have noticed videos like the one below popping into your Twitter feed during our live coverage of the early games this season.


But while the players are out on the field, YOU are the ones who are reacting to all the intense moments either from the stands, or the couch at home.

We want to incorporate your emotions into our match day coverage of Social Sunday against the Saints.

Film yourself celebrating a goal, pleading for a free kick, embracing for a nervous finish or whatever else comes to mind and send them to us on social media using the hashtag #socialPIES.

Each video/GIF used on game day will find a Black and White prize coming their way. Details to come.

The team will have its main training session at the Holden Centre on Thursday as it prepares to take on the Saints.

As selection looms, we’ll have complete coverage of the session through the eyes of one of our most loyal fans.

THE SELECTION REVIEW
Collingwood’s 25-man squad to take on St Kilda will be named at 6.25pm on Thursday.

In the 30 minutes after the team is released, Collingwood’s official Facebook page will run a LIVE poll, giving fans the opportunity to react and review the changes the selection committee make.
