Paul Seedsman just jumped onto the defender watch list after a huge ANZAC day game where he collected 31 possessions and scored an impressive 128. Taylor Adams had one of his best games as a Pie with 29 touches and ten marks for 127, while Scott Pendlebury was all class with 118 from 30 touches. Unfortunately popular defender Adam Oxley was given the red vest on just 36, which hurt a lot of coaches who backed him in for a spot on the ground.

After a round two vest, Seedsman has found some outstanding form with scores of 80 and 128 to lift his season average to 86. Based on this he is heavily under-priced and carries a break-even of just 20 leading into this weeks game. Brodie Grundy keeps getting it done and remains a bargain in the ruck after scoring 97 to give him an average of 93 and a BE of just 35.

What’s Coming Up?
Last time the Pies met the Blues, Pendles had a field day with 128, including an impressive 11 tackles. He will be big again this week and should a consideration for captain selection given his history of smashing Carlton with three big 100’s in his last four.
