Collingwood’s TV show The Club will premier on FOX FOOTY (Channel 504) at 9pm Wednesday, March 21 and air on Wednesday nights every week throughout the Magpies' 2012 campaign.
The show will give an exclusive and entertaining behind the scenes view of what makes up the fabric of Australia's biggest sporting club.
Episode one will feature Mick Malthouse’s 2011 Grand Final post-match address to the players, a look inside the operating theatre during Brent Macaffer’s knee surgery and Nathan Buckley’s view of the 2012 pre-season.
A number of players including Nick Maxwell and Heath Shaw will take ownership of and assist in the production of segments throughout the season.
In episodes to come, viewers will be given a tour of players’ houses, gain access to a Collingwood board meeting, spend 24 hours with Luke Ball, meet the cast of American Pie, follow Heath Shaw through season 2012, go behind the scenes of Cleo Bachelor of the Year with Sharrod Wellingham and be given a look at the characters who make up the Magpie Army, from a Supreme Court judge to a single father of three who works four jobs.
Supporters can view highlights of the show on the club's CTV channel online once the episode is broadcast on FOX FOOTY.
