* The Pies have now defeated Fremantle four times in succession, a run that started with a Friday night victory over the Dockers at the MCG in 2016. Collingwood has beaten Freo in 10 of the past 14 games the clubs have played.
* Optus Stadium in Perth became the 30th venue where the Pies have played a game for premiership points. Interestingly, it's not the only venue where Collingwood has a 100 per cent winning record. The Pies defeated North Melbourne in their only match at Coburg Oval back in 1965. This Pies also have a perfect record at Manuka Oval in Canberra. They defeated the Roos at the venue in 2001.
