Collingwood has made one change to the team which claimed an upset victory over the GWS Giants last weekend.
The Magpies hit the road again this weekend, with a clash against the in-form Adelaide beckoning.
Levi Greenwood will make the trip, while Alex Fasolo will miss with a shoulder injury.
“He’s touch-and-go but we don’t think he’ll come up,” Nathan Buckley told the media earlier on Thursday.
“He wanted to prove his fitness. He wanted to keep the door ajar to taking the field this week.
“But he won’t be available for selection.”
Brent Macaffer retains his spot in the team after playing a vital role on Heath Shaw last week. A clash with dangerous Crow Rory Laird is this week on the cards.
Collingwood will find a tough ask on its hands this weekend, despite entering the game with three consecutive victories.
The opposition have won seven straight on their own, and will have the added motivation of celebrating Scott Thompson’s 300th game.
“He’s been a high possession-getter, he’s a really strong contested ball player and a great clearance player,” Buckley said.
“We’ll be out to spoil the party,” the coach added.
