Darcy Moore understands better than most 20 year olds the challenges an AFL football career can have on the human body. Moore’s strength and skill puts him a class above many of the other young forwards in the AFL.
He played just a quarter-and-a-half in Collingwood’s round 19 match and was still considered among the Magpies' best handful of players in the 19-point victory over West Coast.
However among the success has been the curse of injury. A hamstring issue earlier this season sidelined the young Collingwood forward for a number of weeks.
Then in round 21, Moore escaped from a collision into an Etihad Stadium fence with only a cut head and black eye. He played out the remainder of the match, but it only further highlighted how susceptible the human body really is.
A very special person recently gave Moore the opportunity to truly understand our physical vulnerabilities…
Graham is the result of so many questions about the human body. What if we were built to survive a low impact crash? What might we look like? Graham serves as that reminder of just how vulnerable we really are.
In Saturday’s round 22 match against the Gold Coast Suns, you have the chance to learn more about Graham as well. Be on the lookout around the concourse at Etihad Stadium for TAC’s digital screens where you can interact with the TAC website.
You’ll also go in the draw to win one of four Collingwood memberships.
Don’t miss your opportunity to meet Graham for yourself online at meetgraham.com.au or in person at a gallery near you.
