On the night of 8 October, 1990, legend has it that a handful of Collingwood’s newest premiership players headed out to the Channel 10 studios to read the evening news.
Some sources even say that they were flown out to the network’s Nunawading studios in a helicopter by future President Eddie McGuire.
On tonight’s episode of The Club, that long-forgotten footage gets taken out of mothballs and brought back to life as we relive the 1990 premiership celebrations, the trip to London seven days later and the famous news reading exploits of Millane, Christian and Kelly.
