Thousands braved the Melbourne heat on Wednesday night to line the boundary of the Holden Centre and watch the returns of their favourite Magpies before the start of the season.
Those who couldn't make it watched online, with viewers of Collingwood Media's live stream stretching from Cairns, to Los Angeles, to Tokyo.
Hundreds of followers used the #piesintra to show where they were watching from. Photos and descriptions from fans came via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and led the hashtag to trend #1 in Melbourne on Wednesday evening.
The best entry came from Darren Bishop (@pies25) who's impressive Black and White set-up featured two screens of intra-club action. Darren wins a 2016 playing guernsey signed by last year's list.
