The Collingwood Football Club invites all Magpie fans to help support Team Finnan’s Gift during the Melbourne Marathon Festival this Sunday.

Finnan’s Gift is a charity created by Collingwood Board member Alisa Camplin-Warner and her husband Oliver to honour their son, Finnan, who passed away from Congenital Heart Disease at 10-days-old.

Team Finnan’s Gift is formed by walkers and runners participating in the Melbourne Marathon Festival. The team’s fundraising goal is $50,000, which is for an Australian-First initiative: a Cardio-Oncology service that will help children with childhood cancer who are at risk of developing Cardiac problems due to their Chemotherapy treatment.

How can I participate?
Sign up for any of the three-kilometre walk, the five-kilometre or 10-kilometre runs, or the half or full marathon. Each caters to different levels of fitness.

The event will take place on Sunday 15 October. Team Headquarters are at the Glasshouse Eatery at the Holden Centre, just meters from the starting line.
