Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley says the recently announced strategic blueprint of the club's operations doesn't place more pressure on him.
The review, to be conducted by Collingwood Football Club Foundation Chairman Peter Murphy, will include scrutiny of the football department.
However, despite being in the final year of his contract Buckley said it made no difference to his future.
"I can't see how there can be any more extra pressure," he said.
The Magpies have announced a strategic blueprint, with President Eddie McGuire saying it will encompass all areas of the club.
He said it was necessary because of the rapid expansion of the club in recent seasons and the introduction of a women's football team and a netball team.
"It's a great decision by the board to continue to look at what the competition is asking of us, and what the environment is asking of us, where we stack up in different areas and what are the major contributors to success going forward," Buckley said.
He declared at the end of last season he would be unlikely to keep his job if the Magpies failed to make the finals for the fourth year in a row.
Collingwood has won consecutive games to sit on four wins and six losses after 10 rounds, but remains two matches out of the top eight.
The Magpies travel to Perth to play Fremantle on Sunday in another must-win game.
