Here's our look at the VFL Pies' win over Footscray at the Whitten Oval on Saturday...

Brody Mihocek
One of the four unused emergencies for the AFL game against the Western Bulldogs, Mihocek was moved from his usual backline post to the forward line with great effect. He won plenty of the ball, kicked two goals and earned himself best on ground honours.

Stats summary: 15 disposals (67% efficiency), eight marks, two goals, two behinds, one score-assist

Sam Murray
Another of the emergencies for the AFL team, Murray ended up making his first appearance in Collingwood's VFL team. Showed his usual dash down back, setting up numerous attacking forays with his skill and flair.

Stats summary: 22 disposals (73% efficiency), eight marks, six rebound-50s

Ben Crocker
The third of the unusued AFL emergencies, Crocker lined up in the VFL for the second consecutive week and put his hand up for a recall to the AFL side by posing a constant threat across half-forward.

Rupert Wills
Continued his solid form with another excellent display around the stoppages. Picked up the slack when his midfield mate Brayden Sier was forced out of the game due to injury.
