Levi Greenwood is in line to play his first game for the season on Friday night against the Swans, despite undergoing hip surgery just two weeks ago.
The former Kangaroo checked in at Melbourne airport with his teammates on Thursday morning.
Star midfielder Adam Treloar is also on the plane to Sydney despite only training lightly this week.
Collingwood will announce its team at 6.25pm on Thursday night. The travelling squad will train at the SCG from 4.30pm.
