John Noble
In his first game back after a stint on the sidelines due to a calf injury, Noble showed his trademark dash and skill off half-back in the VFL Pies' 48-point win over the Northern Blues at Marvel Stadium on Sunday. He finished the game with 23 disposals and a goal and is well and truly in consideration to return to the AFL side for Saturday's clash with Melbourne at the MCG.
Jack Madgen
Was named the VFL Pies' best player in the win over the Northern Blues after a dominant display down back. Tallied 24 disposals and four marks.
Max Lynch
With Mason Cox out for the rest of the season due to an eye injury, the door has opened for Lynch to make his AFL debut. The big man has enjoyed a very solid VFL season to date and finished the win over the Blues with 13 disposals and 17 hit-outs.
The Pies produced one of their best performances of the year under the Marvel Stadium lights, and are now just half a game outside the eight!
