Pies midfielder Tom Phillips was the unanimous coaches' choice for best on ground after the big win over Fremantle on Sunday.

Phillips, who finished with 36 disposals and three goals, received the maximum five votes from both coaches in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.

Collingwood players took home all the votes, with Will Hoskin-Elliott, who kicked six goals, and Steele Sidebottom, who racked up 37 touches, among the leading vote-getters behind Phillips.

Sidebottom is eighth on the overall leaderboard, 13 votes behind the leader, Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe.
