Collingwood’s AFLW Head of High-Performance Mathew Pell has provided an injury and health update ahead of the Magpies’ Week 10 Indigenous Round clash against Narrm (Melbourne) at IKON Park on Saturday afternoon.

New Updates:

Eliza James

Eliza James is recovering well following the forwards concussion against Adelaide.

The 21-year-old is currently a test, and will need to pass the final concussion protocol criteria to be available for this weekend’s match.

Mikayla Hyde

Mikayla Hyde is progressing well in her recovery from a foot injury.

The small forward successfully gained scrimmage exposure over the weekend with managed minutes across the game.

The 21-year-old will progress to full training this week to be available for the Pies’ clash against Narrm (Melbourne).

Charlotte Blair

Charlotte Blair is progressing well in her recovery from a bone stress injury in her lower leg.

The midfielder is now off crutches and will partake in light exercise as part of her rehab program.

Grace Campbell

Grace Campbell’s season was unfortunately cut short as she recovers from a hip injury.

The 27-year-old will undergo further assessments to determine the next steps to best prepare for the 2025 season.

Bri Davey

Captain Bri Davey is recovering well from a bone stress injury in her left tibia.

The midfielder has started lower-level exercise in line with her rehab program and looks forward to returning to football in 2025.

Kalinda Howarth

Kalinda Howarth has transitioned into training drills and continues to advance in her recovery from an ACL injury but has unfortunately run out of time to safely return to footy in the 2024 season.

The forward is looking strong to return to footy in 2025.

Selena Karlson

Selena Karlson continues to maintain a de-load period to manage shin pain.

She will continue to be regularly assessed before the 26-year-old reloads with her sights set on 2025.

Annie Lee

Annie Lee continues to work through a program to rehabilitate her knee.

The 21-year-old will consult with the surgeon this week for a regular surgical review to plan for a return to weight bearing.

Nell Morris-Dalton

Nell Morris-Dalton continues to work through her rehab program for a back injury.

The 23-year-old is transitioning into a re-load period.
