Forward duo Grace Campbell and Eleri Morris will return to Collingwood’s side as they travel to Alberton Oval for their Week Seven clash with Port Adelaide.
The Thursday evening fixture will be the first time the Pies have taken on Port Adelaide in the AFLW competition and will see them tick off all 17 opponents.
Campbell, who missed Week Six with a hip soreness, will be a welcome addition to the Pies’ line up having been one of the side's strongest performers in 2024.
The second-year Magpie has been a force with her pressure inside the forward fifty, highlighted by her whopping 17 tackles in Week Three against the Brisbane Lions.
Morris comes back in for the first time since Week 4B when the Pies took on the Western Bulldogs.
Charlotte Taylor and Imogen Evans are the pair that go out of last week’s side against Richmond.
The clash with the Power will have special significance for Collingwood skipper Bri Davey, with the Captain bringing up her 50 game milestone.
An inaugural player in the league at the competition’s inception in 2017 as one of Carlton’s marquee signings, Davey has battled through injury reach 50 games over nine seasons.
Two knee injuries, a league Best & Fairest, three Club Best & Fairests, and seven seasons as Captain have passed as the inspirational leader reaches the mark.
Crossing to Collingwood at the end of the 2019 season, Davey has played 32 of her 49 games in black and white, and will lead the Pies out on Thursday once again having skippered the side since 2021.
Week Seven also sees the AFLW celebrate Pride Round, with all 18 clubs donning special guernseys.
The Pies’ 2024 Pride Guernsey features a bright gradient rainbow that travels down the middle of the jumper, alongside the iconic Collingwood black and white stripes.
The guernsey symbolises the Club stands Side by Side with the LGBTIQA+ community, to champion an inclusive and connected environment for all people.
