Mason Cox will return for his first game since May 24 as he comes back from a knee injury for Collingwood's Round 17 VFL clash.

The ruckman will be back at VFL level for the first time since Round 21 last season and is part of some big name inclusions for the Sunday morning match against the Blues.

Billy Frampton comes in for his first VFL game of the season, while Wil Parker and Josh Eyre return from injuries to bolster the side's defence.

Nicky Christian - son of former Magpie Michael - also comes into the side for his first game of the season in his first year at VFL level.

The Pies will be out for their third win of the 2024 season and first since Round Three - which came against the Blues, also at Sunday's venue of Ikon Park.

Forward Ben Crocker will once again suit up against his old side and is coming off the back of three goals against Geelong last week - part of a 15-goal season that has him second on the Pies' tally. 

He'll be without Dan McStay alongside him after the key forward was named in the Club's AFL side for the first time since last year's Preliminary Final for their Round 19 clash against Hawthorn on Saturday. 

Second-year VFL Pie Jedd Longmire comes back into the side after missing last week through injury, while Hayden Brown also returns.

Entry is free to Ikon Park for what is the Pies' home game, with the first bounce slated for 11:05am AEST.
