Jolly undergoes knee surgery
Ruckman Darren Jolly is likely to miss Collingwood’s next three matches due to a minor knee injury.
The dual premiership ruckman, who missed the match against Port, had arthroscopic surgery on Thursday.
“Darren was experiencing pain in the knee and it was decided to have a look and take the necessary action,” Director of Football Geoff Walsh told collingwoodfc.com.au.
“Unfortunately, the outcome is that he is likely to miss somewhere between three to five weeks.”
Jolly has endured a challenging few years on the injury front.
He sat out eight games midway through 2011 as he overcame a knee injury and missed three games with a rib injury earlier this year.
The 31-year-old played 142 consecutive games for Sydney and Collingwood between 2005 and 2011.
