Collingwood fans will get their first opportunity to see the likes of Lachie Schultz, Tew Jiath, Lachie Sullivan and Jack Bytel play in Pies’ colours this Wednesday as the Pies take on North Melbourne in official match simulation.

Schultz didn’t play in last week’s Intra-Club clash due to a minor kick to the back of the knee, however he will suit up for the first time since joining the Club in last year’s trade period.

Sullivan and Bytel – who last Thursday secured their places on the list for 2024 alongside the injured Josh Eyre via the SSP period – will also play their maiden games in black and white.

The Pies will take a squad of 28 players into the match, with many of the team’s more experienced stars sitting out the clash, giving opportunity to the younger players.

How can I watch?

The game will be held at the AIA Vitality Centre from 10:00AM AEDT on Wednesday morning.

Entry is free, while the game will be streamed live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.

What’s the format?

As the game is a match simulation rather than an official practice game, the competing clubs are able to determine the length and number of periods played.

The two teams will play four quarters, with the clock stopping after goals only.

Quarters one and three will go for 25 minutes, while quarters two and four will run for 20 minutes.
