The Collingwood Football Club is pleased to announce the 2023 E. W. Copeland Trophy will be broadcast and streamed live on Fox Sports, available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports tomorrow night in what will be a league-first event.
Collingwood supporters across the nation will be able to tune in to the count remotely to reflect and celebrate the 2023 AFL Premiership season that was and join in congratulating the Club’s top performers.
Since 1927 the E. W. Copeland Trophy has been awarded to Collingwood’s AFL best and fairest.
The E. W. Copeland Trophy will be one of three best and fairest awards celebrated tomorrow night with the Joseph Wren awarded to the Club’s best performer in the VFL, and the Brendan Stroud Medal awarded to for best performer in the Club’s Victorian Wheelchair Football League (VWFL) side.
Collingwood greats such as Bob Rose, Murray Weideman, Len Thompson, Peter Daicos, Tony Shaw, Nathan Buckley, Paul Licuria and Scott Pendlebury are players who have received the trophy on multiple occasions.
Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly said the Club is pleased to partner with the Foxtel Group to have the event broadcast on Fox Sports and Kayo Sports.
“In a league-first event, we are very excited to be able to broadcast our prestigious Copeland Trophy event to Members and supporters across the country,” Kelly said.
“Off the back of an AFL Premiership there is a lot to celebrate this season across all teams in our Club and we invite our loyal supporters, who have been a part of the journey with us this year, to tune in to what will be a special night.

The E.W. Copeland Trophy will be broadcast live on Fox Sports, available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports from 7:30pm EDT on Friday, October 6.
