The N.I.C.K Foundation presents Robin the Hood
Help support a charity close to Collingwood's heart and enjoy a hilarious stage show at Melbourne University this March.
The show is based in 1192 in Nottingham, England, and Prince John is constantly increasing taxes to cover his gambling problem. Robin the Hood steals gold from John and gives it back to the poor. Desperate to put a stop to Robin, Prince John introduces the "Nottingham's Got Talent" contest, a contest sure to lure Robin out of hiding. Robin enters the contest, but will Prince John's plan work? With Cinderella and others joining the fun, this tale is sure to have you enthralled and laughing in your seats.
The show begins tonight at Melbourne University at Union House at 7.30pm, and free entry will be offered to any charitable organisations for tonight only.
The Salvation Army, the Asylum Seekers, St Vincent de Paul, Royal Children's Hospital Gatehouse, YGLAM, Warrick Foundation Domain Retirement Village, Fitted for Work, North Carlton Railway House, Carlton Police and others will be in attendance. In addition to Robin the Hood, the N.I.C.K Foundation will be running its inaugural Charity Ball on 17 May at Maia, Docklands. More information will be released on the N.I.C.K Foundation website shortly.
