We’re prepared

It has been business as usual at the AIA Vitality Centre this week.

“There is a lot of good data that suggests we’re better prepared this week than what we were last week.”

“This time of year, there is an endpoint. There is a bigger outcome for us, and for them.”

“I think our best footy is that brand - when we’re aggressive.”

On Sydney

When asked about said, Fly emphasised an internal focus.

“We don’t really look at the tag of underdogs or favourites. It’s not something we delve into.”

“We clearly understand what we’re going up there for and what we’re up against.”

“(Sydney is) An opposition that is playing super footy.”

The Magpie Army

The Magpie Army is a 23rd player.

“I’ve got a feeling they’re going to walk up there by the sounds of it.”

“It’s been incredible support we’ve had this year from the Magpie Army. They’ve turned up all year and we are really grateful for that.”

“We tapped into it just before the finals, the ability for our fans to ignite us and the emotion we can attach to that.”

Jack Crisp’s 200th

Midfielder Jack Crisp reaches 200 games this week.

“It’s been a good story. 180 odd consecutive games.”

“We’ll do a little celebration today. His family are coming in.”

Enjoying the process

Fly is grateful for the journey.

“We haven’t played the occasion. We’ve played the game.”

“I’m just really enjoying the moment for what it is. And being grateful for being able to lead this amazing footy club.”
