3 – 0 start

“We probably recognised that we all probably had to improve and play slightly different roles, with Ruby coming into the midfield and Jordy Allen playing a really important role for us”, Butler said.

“I think the overall improvement of lots of different players has been really important to us."

Playing the Crows

“Playing the Crows with their success over the last few years…they’re always a competitive club that we come up against”, Rowe said.

“They’re very physical about the contest and I think it’s going to be really important that we are physical around the midfield and we start from there.”

“We just focus on the processes for us first. We’ve been training well this week and working hard and looking forward to the weekend."

The Pies strength in defence

“It is a strength of ours and something we’ve been trying to work on is how we actually move the ball more effectively forward”, Butler said.

“The Crows probably play a similar defensive style to us.”

“It will probably be our biggest challenge so far.”

Making a statement against the Crows

"Every game you go out to win and obviously winning the first three there's confidence in that", Rowe said.

"But we know that this weekend is going to be a massive test."

"It goes back to the just the process and making sure that we do the little things well leading into the weekend."

"We want to make a statement and we want to go out to win this weekend."

Inspiration from the boys

"There's an amazing feel around the club and even this week you feel the preparation of the boys", Butler said.

"I think that reflects onto the girls as well because we’re obviously in the club at the same time."

Winning streak

"Every game counts so much and one game that you should win that you lose can turn your whole season around", Rowe said.

"Focusing on the little things that we can improve each week. Steve [Symonds] kind of gives us a focus and then that’s how we implement it in the next week."
