Collingwood ruckman Darren Jolly has been cleared of any wrong-doing by the AFL's Match Review Panel in his collision with Sydney midfielder Ben McGlynn on Friday night.

Contact between Jolly and McGlynn was assessed by the Match Review Panel on Monday morning but it was determined that the "forced used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence".

The Match Review Panel's official finding on the incident can be found below, while the collision can be viewed in the video above.

Contact between Collingwood’s Darren Jolly and the Sydney Swans’ Ben McGlynn from the third quarter of Friday’s match was assessed. Sydney’s Jude Bolton had the ball and McGlynn was seeking to run into space in the forward line. Jolly attempted to block the run of the Sydney player and made high contact, for which a free kick was paid against him. After speaking to the umpire who paid the free, viewing all available footage and receiving a medical report from the Sydney Swans, it was the view of the panel the force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.
