It has been a big few weeks in the life of Luke Ball.

The recently retired 2010 premiership champion became a Life Member of the Collingwood Football Club at the club's Annual General Meeting on 12 February.

Now, only a few short weeks later, Ball and his wife Amy have become parents for the first time, welcoming Violet Dorothy into the world over the weekend.

The players, coaches, staff, members and supporters of the Collingwood Football Club congratulate Luke and Amy and wish them and Violet every happiness in the years to come.
