Collingwood has claimed a clean sweep of the AFLCA votes following its hard-fought 20-point victory over the Dockers in round 11.

Both Nathan Buckley and Ross Lyon recognised a Magpies’ midfield, which combined for 146 disposals on the day.

Among those in Collingwood’s engine room, Adam Treloar was named most influential, receiving a maximum ten votes for his 35 disposals, five clearances, three marks, six tackles, seven inside 50s, three goal assists and one goal performance.

In a game that was primed for the speedster’s run and carry along the wide wings of Domain Stadium, the former Giant didn’t disappoint, willing his side to victory despite a mounting injury toll in the final quarter.

Captain Scott Pendlebury continued his impressive vein of form, claiming six of the coaches’ points to take his toll to 25 out of a possible 30 votes over the past three weeks.

The 29-year-old recorded 30 disposals, six marks, five clearances and one goal as his side completed a hat trick of wins.

He was joined by vice-captains Steele Sidebottom (32 possessions, nine marks, five clearances, four tackles, seven inside 50s) and Taylor Adams (28 touches, seven marks, nine clearances and 11 tackles) who combined for eight of the coaches’ votes.

Ruckman Brodie Grundy was awarded three votes after his dominant performance against the Dockers, amassing 21 disposals to go alongside his 39 hitouts.

Utility Jack Crisp – who has been playing as a running defender over the past few weeks – was impressive in his new role, amassing 26 disposals (at 89 per cent efficiency), six marks, three inside 50s and two goal assists.
