James Aish
Hasn't played since suffering a shoulder injury in the round 18 loss to Greater Western Sydney at Giants Stadium, but has been putting in the hard yards on the track in recent weeks. Is a chance to replace the injured Levi Greenwood (knee) in the backline for Saturday's preliminary final against the Giants at the MCG.

Ben Reid
Last played in the AFL team in the round 15 win over North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium. Has been training hard and is among the possible replacements for the injured Jordan De Goey (hamstring).

Matt Scharenberg
Played in the AFL team in the last five rounds of the home and away season before being dropped for the qualifying final against Geelong. Another possible replacement for Greenwood.

Josh Daicos
Like Scharenberg, was named as an emergency for the qualifying final against the Cats. Will come into consideration if the match committee decide to go small in the forward line.

Travis Varcoe
Played the last six games of the home and away season before being omitted for the qualifying final clash with the Cats. Has not put a foot wrong on the training track and is among the potential replacements for De Goey.
