A new season of The Grind will premiere on collingwoodfc.com.au and the club's social media channels at 7.30pm on Tuesday, November 23.
The four-part series will focus on the pre-season of Collingwood’s AFL team, with all four episodes following potential top-three draft pick Nick Daicos, young midfielder Reef McInnes, veteran Jamie Elliott and head coach Craig McRae in his first month at the helm.
Episode one will take viewers behind the scenes during the last weeks of the off-season, as a new-look coaching group forms a bond and commits to standing Side by Side in 2022, while players put in early work on the track. Meanwhile, the son of club legend Peter Daicos prepares for the NAB AFL draft and Jamie Elliott visits his home town.
Episode two will follow Nick Daicos and his family on draft night, ahead of week one of pre-season and Craig McRae’s first address to the playing group.
In episode three a tight-knit group of young players spend time together away from the footy field and the squad adjusts to a new coaching regime.
The final episode follows each player and the head coach as they prepare for the last pre-season game of the summer.
