Episode two of The Grind will premiere on collingwoodfc.com.au and the club's social media channels tonight at 7.30pm.
The second episode follows the club's newest recruits as they begin their AFL journeys.
The beaming smile on Nick Daicos' face never wavered during hours of media at the London Tavern on draft night.
"I've been expecting it now for a bit but it still feels like it's a surprise anyway," he said.
"This is the club I grew up supporting - Collingwood has a big place in my heart.
"To wear the black and white will be a dream come true."
Our three Adelaide draftees - Harvey Harrison, Cooper Murley and Arlo Draper - celebrated over dinner at the Holdfast Hotel in Glenelg with friends, family and Brodie Grundy.
"I'm still almost at a loss for words - my name was called out for Collingwood and I've never been that happy," Draper said.
"It is a bit of a privilege really to have three SA boys picked up and going to the same club.
"We're all pretty close - this is a journey we can go on together which is pretty exciting."
Meanwhile, Charlie Dean and his family were elated following Charlie's selection at pick 2 in the Rookie Draft.
"I spent about four hours at Williamstown going through the slowest gym and running session just to chew up some time," Charlie said of the agonising wait.
"I heard my name and started jumping for joy.
"Last night (during the draft) there was a bit of heartbreak and frustration but I was still holding out hope for today.
"I felt like I did everything I could this year to deserve a chance."
Craig McRae's first address to the playing group on day one of pre-season set the tone for 2022.
"The next few weeks is a time for self reflection, trying to discover your personal best," McRae said.
"We've been here as a staff for over a week now, planning things to make you guys better individually.
"Self improvement - we're not going to shy away from that, we're going to drive standards.
"We're going to create an environment where we're going to be Side by Side, acting like winners every day and that starts right now."
