After a delayed flight due to poor weather in Sydney, Collingwood touched down in the Gold Coast on Friday afternoon.

The travelling party consisting of players, coaches and club officials headed to Metricon Stadium as the sun was setting for a training session before Saturday night's contest against the Suns.

Several thousand supporters were waiting for the Magpies as they worked out for just under an hour.

Former assistant coach and now head coach of the Suns, Guy McKenna, was seen watching the players workout while catching up with several former colleagues.
