The Collingwood Football Club is calling upon all of its supporters and members to vote for Steele Sidebottom’s name to be recognised as the ‘Name of the Year’ (NOTY).
The young Magpie is facing off against Charity Beaver, a former cheerleader who now works as a personal trainer in Texas, USA.
The competition for the NOTY is held online in a knockout style format with Sidebottom taking out Starzanne Stipes by 66% of the vote to progress to the 2010 NOTY Final Four.
If Sidebottom can knock off Beaver he will face either Nohjay Nimpson (St. Joe's triple-jumper) or Banana Yaya (Cameroonian footballer) in the championship.
