Beau McCreery from Collingwood Football Club has won the Gatorade Grand Final Sprint at the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final, taking the crown as the quickest player in the league.
McCreery crossed the line first over Darcy Wilson (St Kilda) and Eddie Ford (North Melbourne) who finished in second and third place respectively.
Presented by Gatorade, the sprint saw players compete in the traditional 100 metre dash across the MCG with heats pre-game, before the final during the half time break.
Gatorade will make a $5,000 donation to Cove Cobras Junior Football Club, the community club where McCreery began his career, as part of their commitment to fuel the next generation of footballers.
