According to the AFL’s records, as best we can tell, Collingwood has had 39 sons-of-ex-Magpie-players play for us over the journey.
The first was Charlie Pannam Jnr (son of Charlie Pannam Snr) who debuted in 1917.
The most sons we’ve had from any one player is three - Bill Twomey’s three sons and David Cloke’s three. Brian Beers, Syd Coventry, Charlie Pannam Snr and Ray Shaw each provided two.
The full list is below, but of course there’s always the chance that others will come to light (the club's archives team only discovered that Danny and Ron Hibbert were related last year - the AFL didn’t know, either!).
Note: The list only includes those who have played senior football (which means Callum Brown and Josh Daicos aren't yet eligible).
