As part of their of term two workshops, Collingwood Magpies Sport and Business Program students had the opportunity to hear from former Magpie premiership captain Nick Maxwell with a Leadership workshop.

The workshop is linked to students’ ‘MyPlan’ and continual professional development sessions over the year.

“The inclusion of workshops and student experiences such as this allows for a well-rounded educational experience,” program facilitator Jessie Hayes said

“Students feel Collingwood, and all of its community, is invested in their personal development as individuals and future leading industry professionals.”

“Having the students engage in workshops such as that run by Nick Maxwell provides such great insight into the club and provides hands on experience to learn from industry leading professionals,” Collingwood Community Manager Liz Dunne said.

“This insight and experience equips each student with the tools to ensure they are able to put their best foot forward into the sport and business industry after graduating from the program.
