Collingwood's VFL side put together a positive three quarter performance against the reigning premiers on Saturday, with a number of players putting forward a strong case for senior selection.
Read the full VFL match summary below and see who might be elevated for the Giants on Saturday night.
Levi Greenwood
A beast through the midfield in the VFL clash against Richmond. Do the Pies need a defensive mid rolling through against the Giants?
Darcy Cameron
Dominant in the ruck and up forward in the VFL. Kicking two goals and getting the better of Mabior Chol in the ruck with Max Lynch.
Trey Ruscoe
Lively option up forward in the VFL, snagged two goals for the day.
Oliver Henry
This guy will take some serious marks in his career... High contested marks were aplenty during the VFL match. Now with a handful of games under his belt, Henry may be ready to show what he's really capable of at AFL level.
Beau Mccreery
The debut that didn't happen in round 3... a positive for the team with no injuries but an unfortunate situation for Mccreery. He has speed, agility and confidence to kick goals from outside 50. If given a chance, he will relish.
Finlay Macrae
Solid performer through the midfield on Saturday. Similar to the other draftees with only a couple of games in the last two years, Macrae is starting to shine.
Tom Wilson
Playing down back and was very good on the weekend. Continues to develop his craft each week. Wilson might be on the verge of an AFL debut if an opportunity arises.
Will Kelly
May need a few more runs in the legs, but Kelly made his return from injury via the VFL and was competitive up forward, while sneaking one goal.
