Collingwood forward, Beau McCreery has been named as a debutant for Thursday night’s match against Brisbane at Marvel Stadium.
The 19-year-old has been listed as the Pies 23rd player and medical sub.
McCreery was selected by the Pies with pick 44 in the 2020 NAB AFL Draft. During his time with South Adelaide in the SANFL, he established himself as a consistent forward and was held goalless on only three occasions.
The draftee played a key part in the Pies’ VFL practice match against the Dogs and displayed some fantastic forward pressure.
He’s also known for his speed and outstanding goal sense.
