Thursday night's Brisbane-Collingwood has been relocated to Marvel Stadium as Brisbane prepares to enter a three-day lockdown.
Originally preparing to fly back to Brisbane on Saturday after their one-point loss to Geelong on Friday night, the Lions will spend their fifth consecutive day in Victoria awaiting further details on their immediate plans.
They held a light training session on Monday morning at Port Melbourne.
Coach Chris Fagan pointed to the prospect of the match being relocated to Marvel Stadium in a direct swap with their clash with the Pies in round 22.
It comes after Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced a three-day lockdown for Greater Brisbane on Monday morning to begin from 5pm after four new local cases of coronavirus were confirmed.
"You'd think it would probably be at Marvel (if it's moved) because we're due to play Collingwood there later in the year so it'd make logical sense for that game to be at Marvel and then hopefully they'll just swap the fixture later in the year," Fagan said.
"They're (players) actually pretty good at the moment, we're just looking forward to the game on Thursday wherever that may be. That's our focus.
"They've all got smiles on their faces and looking forward to the opportunity.
"I brought four pairs of jocks with me so I need to find a laundry today. But, no, we'll do whatever's required."
The Lions were preparing to fly out of Victoria at 11am AEDT on Sunday morning before they were told they'd be required to stay at least another day.
All Lions players, coaches and officials have returned negative readings for COVID-19 after being forced into tests following the loss to the Cats at GMHBA Stadium.
