Rookie Marley Williams had his shoulder assessed by his surgeon this afternoon after sustaining an injury to it during the loss to Carlton on Friday night.
Director of Football Geoff Walsh said that Williams visited the surgeon today and the club will know more once the 18-year-old has been assessed.
As Walsh told collingwoodfc.com.au on Saturday, Dale Thomas is expected to play against Geelong this Saturday night after suffering a bruised ankle against the Blues.
Senior stars Scott Pendlebury (cracked tibia) and Alan Didak (adductor) have both been listed as tests as they continue to return from their respective injuries.
